When we were shopping for a Phoenix Cruiser, we didn't want a slide out, but couldn't find any pictures of a PC with the fixed dinette. We ended up visiting the factory to see one. For anyone researching a PC to purchase, you may find this of interest. Also for the curious.
Here is our 2007 model 2350 with a fixed dinette.
Interior Colors & Materials
- Cherry Cabinet Option
- Sage Mint Green
- Leather Barrel Chair
- Cloth Dinette Bench Seats
- Special Requested. Gray Captain Chairs
Note the extra large cabinets over the dinette. They really hold a lot. We store food and cook ware with plenty of extra room left over for other miscellaneous stuff.
For bench storage, you have both cushion and isle door access.
We requested the sound system subwoofer be mounted in the forward bench, as far from the rear corner bed as possible. This improved the utilization of the outdoor storage under the rear corner bed, and also kept the noise level down when one person is watching TV and the other is taking a nap.

As you all know, the barrel chair pivots and moves forward and backward. It can be positioned to utilize the dining table without too much of a reach.

This shows the power driver seat, set as far back as the seat track will allow. As you can see, there is a little more reclining capability remaining, but not a full recline. You would have to move the seat forward to recline it farther back.

The dinette allows people traveling in the back, to look out the window. While I drive, my wife loves to set up her lap top computer a drink & a snack there to play computer games or manipulate vacation pictures & videos, all done while watching the world go by. Not possible with a slide out couch.

If you don't need the extra floor space, and don't need the slide-out bed for two more people, this is worth consideration.
Any PC can be special ordered with a dinette in the slideout instead of the couch, but the benches are closer together making less leg room, and the table is smaller. This done to accomodate the slideout wall thickness. We felt it to be extremely confining, sitting in one at the factory.
One more point to make here. If you are a family of 3 (or two with dogs that can climb a little), it might be worth considering the "UN-Documented" option of getting the single bed located over the front cab. This keeps your living area clutter-free for early risers to get around without disturbing others still asleep. The main TV then gets mounted by the barrel chair.
